Kajaria Ceramics's net income stood at Rs 620.79 crore
Kajaria Ceramics registered a dip of 3% in its net profit during the first quarter of FY 2018-19. Its profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 50.47 crore as against Rs 52.14 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. The company's net income stood at Rs 620.79 crore, a drop of 8% from the corresponding quarter last year. "During the first quarter of FY 19, sales volumes grew by about 9% and revenue grew by about 5% over the corresponding period in the previous year however the net profit declined by 11% on year-on-year basis," said Ashok Kjaria, chairman of the company. "Our bathware segment registered a robust revenue growth of 69% in Q1 FY19 over the corresponding previous quarter" he further added.
