JSW Steel reports 2% growth in April
JSW Steel reported a 2 per cent growth in crude steel production for the month of April, 2019, the company said on Thursday. Crude steel production went up by 2 per cent at 1.39 million tonnes. While manufacturing of flat steel products used for automotive purposes, heavy machinery, pipes and tubes etc showed a 1 per cent decline at 0.95 million tonnes, long steel products used in construction and infrastructure reported a 4 per cent increase in production at 0.34 million tonnes.
