India to launch research centre on solar power
According to Environment Minister, Anil Madhav Dave, India is planning to start an extensive research on the use of solar power to bring about a “revolution” in this field. The Minister predicted that if India could get success in the research, the country can end the burning of wood forever. Under the Paris Agreement, the developed countries have committed to mobilize $100 billion per year and agreed to enhance it beyond $100 billion dollar per year post 2020.
