GoWork in talks with PE funds to raise $200 million
Flexible office operator Go-Work is in the process of raising $200 million (about Rs 1,375 crore) from private equity funds. The Gurugram-based company plans to use the funds to expand its presence in major cities across the country by opening 50 centres. At present, it runs two co-working spaces in Gurugram spread over 8 lakh square feet, with a capacity of 12,000 seats. “We are looking at scaling up the business further by adding a minimum of one lakh square feet of co-working space,” said Sudeep Singh, cofounder, GoWork. The company is in talks with international institutional players to raise funds, Singh said without divulging any names.
