Dr.Weisner to invest money in the next three years to expand its Bangalore Facility
Dr. Wiesner Test and Automation, a Bengaluru based automation company, plans to disrupt the luxury bathroom closet segment through its product SmartWash. The company is infusing funds to ramp up its manufacturing plant in order to increase the production. The company plans to invest Rs 8 crore in 2017-2018 and Rs 5 crore in 2018-2019. It has already invested Rs 20.5 crore in 2016 to set up a production facility at Dabaspet near Bangalore. “We expect that the yearly turnover from Smartwash will touch Rs 350 crore mark in the next three years,” says HK Nagbhushan, Director, Dr. Wiesner Test and Automation (India). It plans to set up two more production lines to bump up production to 200,000 units per year. The current production line has the capacity to produce 60,000 units per year. Launched last month, the product is already witnessing high uptake. “We are getting online booking of 20-25 units everyday and already have contracts for installation in four stores in Bangalore,” says Nagbhushan.
