DHFL expects 30 per cent growth
Housing finance company Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL) expects an uptick of around 30% in home loan disbursal in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh markets, said a senior official of the company. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Harshil Mehta, chief executive officer (CEO), DHFL said, “With the implementation of ‘Housing for All by 2022’ and Smart City projects, we expect the loan book size in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to surge by over 30% in the next couple of years. Also, steady demand for affordable housing driven by changes in the socioeconomic environment and growing urbanisation will fuel this demand.”
