Delhi Jal Board to report to NGT
The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to submit a detailed status report on the installation of rain water harvesting systems (RWHS) in resident’s welfare associations in the state. It also pulled up DJB for delay in compliance of its April 18 order that had sought information on RWHS and directed it to submit the report in three weeks. A petition seeking the installation of rainwater harvesting systems in hotels, hospitals and malls in the national capital has been pending before the tribunal for the last three years.
