Chhattisgarh is all set to get new national highways

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is expected to complete the work of improving the condition of roads on four national highways (NHs) of Chhattisgarh by the end of this month. However, total of seven works costing ` 59.53 crores had been sanctioned for NH-343, NH-130A, NH-130C and NH-930 during the year 2011-2015. A total of eight numbers of new National Highways - NH-343, NH-163A, NH-149B, NH-130A, NH-130B, NH-130C, NH-130D and NH-930 covering a total length of 843.20 km have been declared between the year 2010 to 2015 in the state of Chhattisgarh. Especially, Chhattisgarh is all set to get new national highways (NHs) with roads totalling length of 1367 kms, inform officials. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has assured of initiating necessary steps in this direction, they informed.
