Chandigarh airport to get solarized
ReNew Power Ventures has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Chandigarh International Airport for solar photovoltaic installations. The agreement duration for the project is 25 years, and was signed in February 2016, for a 5 MW installation at the airport. “At ReNew Powers, we are firm believers that the institutions such as the AAI have to lead and show the way to individuals on reducing green-house gas emissions,” said Sumant Sinha, Chairman and CEO, ReNew Power.
