Burnpur’s cement’s net income dips 22 per cent
Burnpur Cement recorded a dip of 22% in its net income in the financial year 2016-17. Company’s net income stood at Rs 82.79 crore in the current fiscal. It registered a loss of Rs 53.87 crore during the same period. Burnpur Cement’s net income in the quarter ending March 2017 was mere Rs 4.06 crore as against the Rs 43.86 crore it recorded during the same quarter last fiscal. It registered a loss of Rs 22.99 crore during the same period.
