Berger Paints' net profit dips 2.7% in Q3 FY19
Berger Paints on Friday reported a marginal rise of 2.7 per cent in its net profit during the quarter ended December 2018. The company's profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 133.85 crore as against Rs 130.39 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. Its net income stood at Rs 1,631.82 crore, an increase of 21 per cent from Rs 1,348.68 crore it reported in the similar quarter last year. The company appointed AnoopHoon and SonuBhasin as additional, non-executive and independent directors on the board of the company with effect from February 1, 2019. EBITDA for the said quarter was Rs 236 crore, an increase of 6 per cent from Rs 222.6 crore it had reported in the Q3 FY18.
