Azure secures Indian home win
Azure Power has won the right to develop a 50MW solar plant in an auction by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under the country’s National Solar Mission programme. The project will be built in the Ananthapuramu solar park in Andhra Pradesh and will supply power to SECI for 25 years. Azure Power founder and chief executive officer Inderpreet Wadhwa said: “Azure Power maintains a strong track record of winning projects under every phase of national solar mission policy.” The company has a portfolio of more than 1GW of projects.
