Hungarian company Graphisoft Budapest in association with Rudrabhishek Infosystem Pvt. Ltd. has launched advanced designing software Archicad 21 in India. The BIM based software has been launched worldwide for the AEC industry professionals. Archicad 21 brings in highly-anticipated Stair Tool, Railing Tools which make design more authentic and real. It also introduces a flexible way to classify elements and spaces for better support of national or company standards and for unprecedented interoperability between projects and stakeholders. It has a unique feature of Pro-Visualization based on Maxon’s Cinema 4D v18 rendering engine which offers architects high quality, photo-realistic rendering in the BIM content. The latest version introduces Light Mapping and Secondary GI methods for more realistic, yet fast rendering. With the evolution of BIM as the de facto workflow, architects increasingly receive consultant information in a BIM format which helps architects fulfill their role as lead coordinator of the mode. It also offers creative work and design documentation of a project in 7D environment with the help of which one can find the potential flaws and weaknesses in the design before construction. The dimension like time, cost, environmental impact and facility management can be incorporated at the state of designing and planning itself. This avoids clashes at the later stage implementation which has direct bearing on the timely completion and cost saving on the projects. Not only it makes the tedious task of documentation lets the user works on any network, hardware or software configuration connection teams and projects of any size or setup.
