Online furniture company Pepperfry is betting big on its offline stores known as Studio Pepperfry and is keen to expand the outlets to the smaller towns of the country.
At present, Pepperfry has 60 experiential centres in 20 cities across the country, out of which 18 are owned and operated by franchisees. We are looking at expanding our Studio footprint to Tier-II and Tier-III markets with the help of our unique and highly successful franchise-owned & franchise-operated (FOFO) model. The company aims aim to open at least 20 more FOFO Studios in Tier II cities and beyond by March 2021 and are positive it will result in a significant increase in engagement and revenue rate from these cities.
