Kamdhenu recorded a rise of 32% in its net profit during the quarter ended December 31, 2018. Its profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 6 crore as compared to Rs 4 crore in Q3 FY18.
The company's revenue dipped by 21% to Rs 242 crore in Q3 FY19 as compared to Rs 305 crore it recorded in the similar quarter previous year.
"In the last few months, we have recouped our business strategy by reducing B2B Trading Sales and focus on improving efficiencies in own manufacturing and on franchisee based business. This will further lead to increased margins and better efficiencies with higher RoE and RoCE. This will also help is efficiently manage working capital requirements," said Satish Kumar Agarwal, chairman & managing director of the company.
Its royalty income through franchisee’s was up by 41% to Rs 22 crore as compared to Rs 16 crore in Q3 FY18.
