JSW Steel Set’s Up World’s Longest Conveyor System

JSW Steel has constructed the world’s longest conveyor belt at Bellary. JSW has reduced the number of vehicle trips required to carry iron ore by over 3000 thanks to their pipe conveyor system. This not only addresses the crucial issue of transporting raw materials from mines to processing plants, but it also improves the process’s sustainability by considerably lowering carbon emissions produced by vehicle travel. The project’s most important requirements were system design, product reliability, and life cycle support. The system transports iron ore from Nandihalli yard to JSW’s Toranagallu facility in Bellary, Karnataka, using three flights of pipe conveyor.
