iSteel Aims to Double steel Bar Production Capacity

Tamil Nadu -based iSteel said that it looks to double its production capacity for its TMT and ELS steel bars to 1.2 lakh tonnes and expand its dealership network across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka to cash in on the growing private construction and infrastructure sector in India. The company, which has an annual production capacity of about 60,000 tonnes, said through the dealership expansion and anticipation of a robust year for construction activity, it expects to generate about `500 crore as revenue turnover in the 2019 fiscal. While the demand is well set, iSteel with its significant expansion will continue to be benefitted from the strong demand currently.
