Haryana Government has now made it mandatory for the colonisers to install LED lights in the upcoming and existing projects in the State.
‘It is hereby directed that henceforth following condition shall be inserted in the zoning plans of licenced colonies as well as CLU granted sites. The owner shall ensure the installation of light-emitting diode lamps (LED) for its campus as well as building," said Haryana Town and Country Planning Department in its official order.
Implementation of these conditions shall be ensured at the time of grant of Occupation Certificate.
Further, colonizer/owner can also install Light-Emitting Diode lamps (LED) instead of Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) in the existing projects for internal lighting as well as street lighting.
