Embassy Industrial Parks bags Faurecia, the 6th largest global leader in Chakan

Embassy Industrial Parks, a joint venture between Embassy Group India’s leading property developer and Warburg Pincus, has signed Faurecia, 6^th largest global leader in automotive technology as its client in the industrial park facility located in Chakan, Pune. Embassy Industrial Parks invested INR 350 crore to build a 1.1-million sq. ft. industrial park at Chakan, Pune. The project mainly comprises built-to-suit factories ranging from 50,000 sq. ft. to 2lakh sq. ft. in size. Embassy Industrial Parks, pioneers of modern warehousing have marked their presence across India by buying strategically located land banks and building an all encompassing and self-sustaining business environment there. The company started this with an initial equity line of 250 million USD to build industrial parks in key cities of India. Currently parks are operational in Chakan - Pune, Sriperumbudur - Chennai, Farrukhnagar and Bilaspur - Delhi NCR and Hosur – between Bangalore & Chennai & in Kothur - Hyderabad. Over the next three years they aim to build 9 parks, with the total of 35 million sq. ft. of potential development.
