World leaders representing India, China, United States of America and the European Union will attend the event.
Dalmia Cement, Mahendra Singhi, Group CEO, who will be present at the event, will take part in an interactive dialogue with other world leaders to action tackling climate change. He has lead the discussion on Partnership for SDG Implementation in New York on April 21 and will also preside over a press conference on private sector action on climate today.
Singhi is the co-chair of Cement Sustainability Initiative (CSI) in India. CSI facilitates low carbon technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create a pollution free environment, aiding sustainability. He is well known in the industry and regarded as a key influencer on climate issues.
