CeraSanitaryware's net profit rises by 23% in Q3 FY19

CeraSantiaryware registered an increase of 23 per cent in its net standalone profit during the quarter ended December 31, 2018. Its profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 28.35 crore in Q3 FY19 as against Rs 23.08 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net income stood at Rs 322.83 crore in Q3 FY19, a rise of 10 per cent from Rs 292.78 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter previous year. The company's board of directors approved the re-classification of shares held by Shashi Kumar Somany and Madhusudan Holdings from existing promoters/promoter Group shareholding to 'Public Shareholding'.
