Asian Paints Launches Anti-Covid-19 Paint

Asian Paints' new Royale Luxury Emulsion Health Shield is said to be the first interior paint that is effective against Covid-19 and also kills 99% bacteria with a three-year warranty. Asian Paints Bangladesh Ltd has recently launched a new product, the Royale Luxury Emulsion Health Shield, an indoor paint for the local customers. It is said to kill 99% bacteria. In addition to the Silver Ion technology, the product has a five-year performance warranty with an advanced surface protector, which provides stain resistance and purifies the air by neutralizing formaldehyde. The product has been validated by studies conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, an Indian government-recognized laboratory and TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore. Regarding the launch of the new product, Ritesh Doshi, general manager of Asian Paints Bangladesh Ltd, said: ‘With the advent of the pandemic that has disrupted the lives of so many, we felt responsible to utilize our passion for innovation and customer centricity in providing safer walls for our customers. So, we developed a sanitizer for your wall. Previously we have also introduced some new products and services that changed the whole paint products and retail scenario.
